Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day ![]()
Today, we all came together to mark Remembrance Day with great respect and reflection.
During our assembly, the children joined the BBC’s live coverage from across the country and took part in the two minutes’ silence, showing deep thought and understanding of the importance of the day.
In the lead up to today, every child contributed to our commemorations — creating a thoughtful poppy wreath, beautiful clay poppies and a stunning piece of whole school artwork that reflects unity and remembrance.
Remembrance Day holds special meaning within our community, especially as several of our parents have served in the Armed Forces. We are so proud of how our children have shown incredible respect, reflection, and empathy throughout. ![]()
