🌿 A Wonderful Week at Mighty Mossy! 🌿

Acorn Class have been super busy explorers this week!
💻 Computing: The children learned all about safe searching online and practised finding information. Each group researched a famous toy brand, discovering fun facts and watching videos to learn even more!
✏️ English: We began our new unit on persuasive writing. Acorns explored past and present tense, then looked at real persuasive posters to spot powerful language.
🔬 Science: Our young scientists investigated our bodies and exercise, comparing activities that get our hearts pumping with those that keep them calm.

Oak Class have had an exciting and investigative week!
✏️ English: The children wrote their independent mystery ghost stories and even recorded themselves reading them aloud on Seesaw. Can you solve their spooky mysteries?
🔌 Science: Oaks explored insulators and conductors, testing different materials to see how they behaved in electrical circuits.
🗺️ Geography: The class cracked four- and six-figure grid references, using maps to put their new navigation skills into action.

🌲 Forest Friday: We rounded off the week outdoors, creating imaginative tree faces and enjoying our time in nature.
