What an incredible day Oak Class have had; they have taken part in an inspiring virtual adventure to the Amazon.

They joined another school, in Manchester, to learn about the physical geography of the Amazon, about the devastating affect of deforestation, they wrote their own ‘dreams’ for the Amazon, they used natural materials to create ‘forest souls’ and met a family from the Kambebas indigenous tribe. One of the workshop leaders was even Brazilian and had visited the Amazon rainforest and the Kambebas herself!

What a jam packed day!
