A Memorable Day at Blackpool Zoo

Despite the rainiest weather we've ever experienced, our amazing children showed incredible resilience and positivity during our trip to Blackpool Zoo today. Even though they were cold and wet, not a single complaint was heard — we couldn’t be prouder!

Unfortunately, the severe weather meant we had to cut our visit short for safety reasons. However, we still managed to pack in plenty of exciting experiences! We visited the monkey enclosure, walked amongst the wallabies and saw camels, anteaters, capybaras, giant tortoises, snakes and a fascinating variety of birds.

A highlight of our day was the interactive workshop with the zoo staff, where we learned about different animal groups and handled some truly unique artefacts — including elephant poo! (Much to the children’s delight!)
