🌿✨ This Week at Mighty Mossy! ✨🌿

It’s been another exciting week of learning, exploring, and having fun across our classes!

🍃 Acorn Class

In Science, Acorns have been inspired by Thomas Edison and had a brilliant time making their own circuits. Lots of sparks of curiosity flying around!

In PE, the children blasted off on a space dance adventure 🚀✨. They imagined themselves as rockets, astronauts and even planets, moving in creative ways to music. The class had so much fun expressing themselves through dance while staying active.

🌳 Oaks Class

In PE, Oaks travelled to Greece (through dance!) and learned some traditional Greek steps and patterns. They worked on rhythm, coordination, teamwork and finished with a joyful group dance. 💃🇬🇷

In History, the children explored Athens and Sparta. They discussed which city-state they’d prefer to live in – with most boys choosing Athens and most girls choosing Sparta!

In English, excitement continues as the class delves deeper into the reading phase of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. The story has captured their imaginations and sparked lots of great discussions. ⚡📖

🌲 Forest Friday
To finish the week, everyone loved being outdoors in mixed-age groups, working together and using natural materials to create beautiful mandala patterns. It was a wonderful way to connect with nature, collaborate and let creativity shine. 🍂✨
