* Acorn Class Update *

Another exciting week filled with learning and creativity in our classroom! 🌟

In Maths, Reception children wrapped up the 'Alive in Five' unit, Year Two mastered the money unit, and Year One conquered the place value challenges setting the stage for next week.

Literacy has been a joy to witness, with children showcasing their skills in model writing. Our Reception stars have also applied their literary prowess in a creative way, assisting Paddington not only with his attire but also in packing suitably for a visit to Mossy School.

We're thrilled to share that our young readers are on a journey to collect their reading gems, and the excitement is building as they approach the 20-day mark! 📖✨

* Oak Class Update *

🧮🌟This week in English, our children showcased their creativity by crafting their own innovations of "The Iron Man" by Ted Hughes, inventing unique characters and settings.

Over in Maths, the Year 6's couldn't contain their excitement as they delved into the world of algebra – a unit they've eagerly anticipated all year.

🛠️🔍 In Design and Technology, the children explored various mechanisms, fostering hands-on learning, involving gears, cogs, levers and pulley. All in readiness for designing and making their own moving robot.

🎶🌈 Lastly, the musical talents of our students shone through as they impressed us with their rendition of "Don't Worry" by Bob Marley on the glockenspiels.

🌟👏Cheers to a week filled with creativity, curiosity, and accomplishments!
