* Acorn Class Update *

Our adventures in the world of Flat Stanley continue! Imagine being rolled up like wallpaper! - that's the magic we've been exploring. EYFS and Year Two, have shone completing our maths unit on measurement. We have been taking advantage of the weather and even managed to take our learning outdoors for literacy lessons. This week, we embarked on a journey to recreate London landmarks and told captivating stories with our own characters.

* Oak Class Update *

What a fantastic week it's been in Oak Class, full of learning adventures and creative explorations! Here's a peek into what we've been up to:

Our week kicked off with a whole school assembly dedicated to brainstorming how we could celebrate World Book Day. Cross-Curricular Learning: Combining Geography and English, Oak Class delved into the geographical wonders of New York before diving into persuasive letter writing. The children have truly excelled, crafting persuasive masterpieces urging their families to embark on a journey to the Big Apple!

Physical Education Fun: In PE, our students embraced the challenge of completing a variety of circuits, enhancing their fitness levels and teamwork skills with enthusiasm and energy.

World Book Day Celebrations: As part of our World Book Day festivities, Oak Class got creative with interactive book reviews, bringing their favourite stories to life and sharing their love of reading with the entire school community. These reviews are now proudly displayed in our library, inspiring fellow bookworms to discover new literary treasures.

Celebrating Achievements: We're incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our students have shown this week. From persuasive writing to physical fitness challenges and celebrating the joy of reading, Oak Class continues to shine bright! Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Oak Class as we continue our journey of learning and discovery together.
