Week Ending 15.11.24
A Busy Week!
This week has been full of exciting activities and wonderful learning opportunities for everyone! Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to:
Our youngest learners went on an autumnal adventure around the local area, spotting signs of the season. Back in the classroom, they connected their findings to their Science lessons and explored Autumn-themed poetry in English. What a wonderful way to embrace the season!
Our budding writers in Year 3 have started crafting new chapters for The Worst Witch, while Years 4-6 are channelling their inner wizards with new stories inspired by Harry Potter! Their creativity and enthusiasm have been inspiring.
In Science, they’ve been exploring the digestive system in a unique way by using the Chatterpix app to bring organs to life—complete with explanations of their functions!
PE Fun
Both classes have been perfecting their magical Harry Potter dances, incorporating some outdoor fun by finding their own "wands" in the wooded area. The creativity and movement have been spellbinding!
Children in Need
We wrapped up the week by celebrating our school values of We are considerate and We are responsible with a fundraiser for Children in Need. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated—it’s heartwarming to see our school community come together for such an important cause.
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
