This afternoon, Oak Class enjoyed a workshop with UK Parliament Learning. Ordinarily, we would visit the Houses of Parliament in London m, however, we had the next best thing and Parliament came to us!

The children learnt all about the House of Commons and the House of Lords, how laws are passed and about the role of a Member of Parliament.

Our guides were very impressed with the children’s knowledge and the questions they asked and even thought we had a few future MP’s in school!
