This week was filled with incredible learning moments, and we're excited to share the highlights with you:

🔢 In maths, we've continued building on our small steps as the children explored number bonds to and within 20. With the help of concrete resources, they grasped how these bonds are the foundation for adding three one-digit numbers and mastering addition/subtraction across 10!

🌟 Our EYFS students had a blast with their furry friends while exploring numbers 1, 2, and 3. They even took the maths learning outdoors for some extra fun!

🔡 Reception children have been on a phonics adventure, using their phonetical knowledge to journey along the phonics wall.

📚 In literacy, the Acorns have been delving into the fascinating world of fiction and non-fiction, identifying the features of both. The children then took the initiative to spruce up the reading corner and organize our collection of books! Not only that, but they also sorted our books into categories, making it easier for everyone to find just the right book for their interests. It's a fantastic example of teamwork and creativity. We're so proud of their enthusiasm for reading and their eagerness to create a welcoming environment for it. It's a testament to their love for learning and growing.

🌍 In R.E, we crafted a beautiful mobile containing vocabulary that describe our feelings about nature and our world. It was a perfect way to conclude our unit.

🎃🧘‍♀️ In P.E, we got into the Halloween spirit with some spooky yoga then peaceful meditation.
