Policies
For transparency, and in line with the Freedom of Information Act (FIA), please find listed our (non-curriculum specific) school policies. In many cases the policies are joint school policies with St George’s and where applicable we may directly utilise external policies from other organisations without any tailoring (eg DfE, Lancashire County Council, Blackburn Diocese Board of Education ), all being approved by the Full Governing Board Please do note, that although every effort is made to keep these policies up to date, it may be that a more current policy is available from the school admin office, or clerk to the Governing Body. Additionally, the policy on the website may appear dated. This does not necessarily mean it hasn't been reviewed, more that at the review only minor changes (formatting or contact information), if any, were made. Please also note that where curriculum related school policies have been produced (e.g. PHSE Policy), these will be listed on the applicable Subject webpage (Curriculum, Subject Areas). Any requests for additional policies, or paper copies must be placed in writing to the Clerk to the Governors, via the school admin office.
